Petrolo Galatrona 2018

A superb vintage produced and matured by Petrolo also known as the Chateau Petrus of Tuscany. This is an intense and elegant wine, deep with a sensual bouquet of ripe black cherries and a hint of eucalyptus. It is well structured, generous with hints of cedar wood and tobacco leaves and has been aged in oak casks (30% of which were new).  This is a great wine, which is the very expression of its territory. A classic in the making, in true Tuscan style which can age up to 15 years. Grapes: 100% Merlot.
