Domaine Jérôme Chézeaux Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru ‘Aux Boudots’

Light clear ruby, youthful; high intensity aromatics, red berry fruit, iodine, iron, slight spice, subtle complexity throughout; palate is light bodied, silky but still deep red fruit throughout, very fine youthful tannins that provide a bit of structure to the wine, high acidity which gives great freshness to the juicy fruit, lovely persistence of fruit through the midpalate; finish is medium to medium-plus length. This wine has a bit more aromatic complexity but the real difference is on the palate where the Boudots is a bit more elegant, integrated, and a big step up in complexity and length.
