Aves Del Sur Carmenère

This Chilean wine is carmine red with bluish hues and has a very typical and intense nose where the aromas of blackberries, black plum and cassis stand out with a light touch of spice. On the palate it is silky, slightly sweet, with hints of chocolate, toffee and cinnamon and has an elegant final persistence. This would make an excellent combination with cheeses and lightly spiced foods but would also be ideal with white meats and roasted or baked red meats.
