Château Beychevelle Saint-Julien (Grand Cru Classé) 2012

The wines of Saint-Julien (nicknamed “the Versailles of the Mèdoc”) are famous for mixing the feminine finesse of Margaux wines with the strength of Pauillac wines and cover 90 hectares of vines. This wine is a dense, dark garnet colour, drawing on purple in its youth. The nose reveals notes of violet and empyreumatic like wood roasting with vanilla. In aging, the wine will reveal very high quality game or truffle aromas.  We will find therefore structured tannins with a note of black fruits important that will give an interesting overall balance. Grapes: 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot.
