Deep ruby colour. Outspoken small berry fruity flavors with a touch of spiciness, slight dark chocolate finish. Richly textured with a velvety aftertaste. To be enjoyed on its own or with red meats dishes.
The vineyards lie on the hills of La Morra, one of the best area in Piemonte. Aged in French and Slovenian oak casks.
An open bouquet of ripe dark cherries, spices and violet. Oaky, spicy with black fruit. Wonderfully rich and dense with cinammon nuances.
Made from the ancestral Governo method which consists of refermenting the wine by adding dried grapes into the vat, thus enriching the wine giving it more concentration and complexity. The wine is full with lots of black cherry and warmth and a soft texture. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
