Domaine Georges Lignier Morey St Denis 1er Cru les Ormes

Morey St Denis Clos des Ormes is an exceptional Premier Cru site that directly abuts Clos de la Roche to the east and is a stones throw south of Charmes Chambertin. The soil here is heavy and rich producing concentrated Morey for ageing. Very perfumed and with great purity, hints of dark cherry and spice – very approachable with wonderfully soft tannins and lovely balance.
