Quick Overview

A full bodied red wine (70% Merlot, 15 % cabernet Sauvignon, 15 % Cabernet franc) from the Castillon , Cotes de Bordeaux region of France.

Chateau Terre Blanche Castillon Cotes de Bordeaux is made from 70% Merlot, 30% Cabernets. Deep, dark with a powerful nose of ripe black fruits. Full, ample and smooth, very typical of the appellation. Ideal with grilled duck breast, lamb, game terrine, matured cheeses. Château Terre Blanche is part of the Union of Côtes de Bordeaux. The Union of Cotes de Bordeaux is 14% of the production of Bordeaux wines, it includes 1,500 wine growers and 12,600 acres of vineyards spread over four terroirs: Blaye, Cadillac, Castillon and Francs. Wines of those terroirs are mainly red wines with a strong personality, marked with a beautiful aromatic presence and a well-balanced structure. Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux is located on natural hills, more or less steep, a relief assembling hills and valleys formed by the two rivers Garonne and Dordogne. Those terroirs are very high quality, their south and sometimes south east exposure offers a perfect sunshine to vine.
